Recently I published this post about actually using your reusable bags and this one about refusing free stuff. But even if we start now, the fact remains: many of us have collected a number of bags we never use.
I don’t know what it is about human nature, but most of us have a hard time passing up anything that is free. It doesn’t matter if we will ever actually use it. If it is free we want to have it. You know, because it will be handy. Because it’s cute. Because we might need it in the future.
Sometimes I feel like I’m addicted to bags. Probably related to my affinity for all things storage (that I never use), but I love to collect reusable bags. Something about the possibility it holds is enamoring. Bags, which I stash in the closet, and never see the light of day. This is a problem.
